Mexiko-Stadt - Mit Nagel und Faden haben zwei Polizisten in Mexiko-Stadt gegen ihre Entlassung protestiert. Unter den Augen vieler Schaulustiger bohrte sich ein Polizist Nägel durch die Handflächen und trug in Anspielung an den gekreuzigten Jesus ein Holzkreuz durch die Straßen. Sein Kollege nähte sich mit einem Nylonfaden den Mund zu. Die Polizisten protestierten damit gegen ihre Entlassung und die neun weiterer Kollegen durch einen angeblich korrupten Polizeioffizier. Die Behörden schritten nicht ein. Sie boten aber Gespräche an, nachdem der Polizist mit dem vernähten Mund versucht hatte, seinen Kollegen an das behelfsmäßige Kreuz zu schlagen.
