Ein unorthodoxer Tipp aus der japanischen Fernsehshow "Ito-ke no shokutako" (etwa: Abendessen bei Familie Ito), in der jede Woche über Alltagsprobleme diskutiert wird: ein Bügeleisen mit auf die Bowlingbahn nehmen.

Wenn man mit dessen Spitze auf die zweite Pfeilspitze von rechts zeigt, die auf jeder Bowlingbahn aufgemalt ist, hat man die exakt richtige Haltung für den perfekten Bowlingschwung. Allerdings sollte man das Bügeleisen beim Üben nicht loslassen.
