Trost der Geografie

Es sollte die Natur nicht stören,
falls wir von Matrosen hören,
dass die sie häufig schon verfluchten,
weil sie vergeblich Buchten suchten.

Zwar wimmelt es in rauen Mengen ersatzweise von Meeresengen,
doch keinen Seemann freut dies richtig.

Drum scheint mir als Erkenntnis wichtig:
Es lehrt uns auch Geografie,
allen recht macht´s einer nie!
